09/01/09 Pay Day

09/01/09 Day Two and pay day

Well was very naughty last night considering i'm not actually on a diet a whole packet of fox's very nice biscuits and 5 or 6 small packets of mini cheddars. As i said not officially on a diet but am supposed to be cutting out the rubbish.

today has already been one of those days have just checked my scooter mot to find out it ran out in November why i thought it was due the same time as the tax i don't know, my shoe lace broke and on a more serious note my blood pressure is high most likely due to my weight, i having some blood tests to check my liver and kidney functions as well as cholesterol.

This is enough i have had two shredded wheat with semi skimmed milk no sugar its time to get serious.

Where Has The last Year Gone

Looking on my blog its been over a year since i planned to restart my weight loss journey. During this time i have put more weight on, and I'm now weighing in at over 21 Stone.

I'm planning on exercising more with the aid of the wii fit board, i could do it without but i guess it makes it more fun.

Im also planning on trying the Gi diet with the help of tesco's online diet its £2.99 a week but thats chaeper than slimming world and weight watchers.

well heres to 2009 and starting the journey again.

06th March 2008 - Day Three

Two days down and on to day three, have a feeling today is going to be the worst, ketosis mouth and a headache to start with.
I guess i should be pleased, I didnt sleep too well last was up for the loo a couple of times, sitting down to my first glass of water of the day and a black coffee along with 2 paractemol.
Unfortunatley im on the same shift at work today so i dont start till 4.30pm so lots of sitting around again today, i might have to resort to doing some housework.

Past and present

Day One 29th april 2007

Well I have started on the Cambridge Diet
Had a shake first thing (toffee and walnut) whch wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, although seemed to keep the taste in my mouth for ages.
Had my second shake about an hour ago (Chocolate) which was very yummy, having been steadily drinking glasses of water and i had a cup of black tea earlier with tablet sweetners.
Later on im going to have my first cambridge diet soup (Broccoli and Cheese) and to finish off the day my last shake of the day (Vanilla).
Havnt really felt hungry today yet although do get a twinge everytime i go in to the kitchen, i have lost count the times i have had to go the bathroom already today
feeling fairly mellow although i did get very cross earlier as my neigbours are in the garden having a BBQ using my BBQ and they didnt ask first, and although the garden is communal its me who went and brought a lawn mower, strimmer and the plants etc and its me who looks after the garden GRRRRR.
I think they have got the messsage about using my BBQ in future.

As of starting today i weigh 17 stone 11lbs im looking to get down to just above my ideal weight of 14 stone and a healthy BMI of 25, trouser size 42/44 at the moment hoping to get down to a 36.


Day One 04 March 2008

Well that was just under a year ago and here i am again day one of cambridge, for me this time i weigh almost 20 stone and im looking to lose 5 stone still in time for the summer when the kids come stay.My first shake is most likly going to be mint choc chip with a soup later chicken and veg a tetra for work chocolate and another shake strawberry before bed. Im know there have neen new flavours introduced but to be honest dont what they are yet.Since then i have found a girl friend, moved in to a house together, got engaged, set a date ( the next blue moon) and most importantly got my head together, now is the time to shift the weight more so than last year, my knees are giving me constant pain from the extra pressure of the weight ,im getting pains in my calf muscles and my clothes do not fit.My goal to lose 5 stone to lose 8 inches off my waist and my clothes to fit. 25th January - Motivation Zero

One of those weeks i have to say, No weigh in for me last night as i was working.
Motivation ZERO.
I am going to stick to the sliming world plan for the next week. But to be honest if i feel the same way this time next week im going back on to cambridge which i know is a lot harder to stick to and a much harsher regime but i got results last time.

17th January - Slimming World 2nd Weigh In

2nd weigh in tonight, sad to say no loss but also no gain and i have been so good......... other than the kebab the apple crumble half a swiss roll and a kitkat chunky.............. well maybe not so good.
Heres to next week and a 3.5 loss hopefully

Slimming World The First Week Weigh In

Im very pleased to report a 4lb loss, despite my two naughty days.
I must admit at the time i was feeling a bit disopointed but on hindsight if i keep it up over the next few weeks that will be a stone gone and and a sixth of my target weigh to lose gone.

Today (Friday) Im having a red day so far have had Half a bag of clementines, (yum) 3 muller fruity yougurts and a 500g pack of sliced gammon, minus the fat from good old asda.
Tonight im looking forward to pork chops, steamed vegetables, boiled mushrooms and if i have space a fried egg done in frylite.
